After graduating from university he moved into politics, quickly establishing himself and becoming the pA to the Spanish Prime Minister at 25. In 1999 he won a seat in the European Parliament, becoming the youngest Spanish person to ever do so at the age of 28. In 2001 he decided to leave the world of politics and move into motorsport where together with his business partner Flavio Briatore, they purchased the F1 TV rights in Spain. Agag THEN purchased the Campos Racing GP2 Team, revamping it into the highly successful Barwa Addax Team. After investing in English football club QPR, Agag, together with Enrique Bañuelos, began Formula E Holdings, winning the tender to promote the new FIA Formula E Championship.

ALAN clarke - uber Alan currently works in Uber’s Public Policy team where he leads the company’s policy on the future of low-emission transport in the UK and Ireland. This work includes engaging with policy makers to ensure that the UK’s charging infrastructure is adequate to meet the scale of Uber’s ambition for increasing the number of EVs available on the Uber app. To this end, Uber UK recently completed a three-month study into the operation of electric private hire vehicles in London. The results of this study – and what it means for Uber’s future ambition for electric vehicles in the UK - will form the basis of Alan’s presentation to the EVRT.

Natasha Robinson - OLEV Natasha Robinson is head of the Government’s Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) - a cross-Whitehall team which is responsible for placing the UK at the global forefront of development and deployment of ultra-low emission vehicles.    OLEV is responsible for developing and delivering a package of measures to create an early flourishing market for ultra-low emission vehicles, charting a longer-term path to mass market and ensuring that the UK makes the most of the economic opportunity this offers.

Simon is Founder and Director of ‘Clean Air in London’ which campaigns for full compliance with World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines for air quality throughout London and elsewhere. Simon is a member of the High-Level Intergovernmental and Stakeholder Advisory Group for the United Nations Environment Programme’s sixth Global Environment Outlook due to report in 2019.  He also Chairs the Knightsbridge Neighbourhood Forum.
