Adrian Vinsome - CENEX Adrian has a strong transport and technical background, having started his professional career with Jaguar Cars Ltd and having worked for both the Universities of Warwick and Durham on collaborative research and technology transfer programmes with industry, and has over 30 years’ experience in project and programme management in low carbon vehicle technologies.   At Cenex Adrian is responsible for large-scale vehicle demonstration and infrastructure deployment programmes, including the Low Carbon Vehicle Procurement Programme to accelerate the introduction of low carbon vans into public sector fleets, and the Plugged-in Midlands programme which installed an extensive network of electric vehicle charging points across the region.  He is currently leading a number of projects related to low carbon vehicle energy infrastructure, in particular V2G and grid management research projects with both UK and European partners.

Jonathan Cohen - Eversheds Sutherland Jonathan has extensive experience of advising on transactions in the climate change and energy sectors, and on all technologies including energy storage, tidal, offshore and onshore wind, solar, CHP and district energy. Jonathan is Head of Energy Storage at international law firm Eversheds Sutherland and has advised a number of international developers on energy storage projects participating in National Grid’s first Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) tender and the recent Capacity Market T-4 Tender. Jonathan has also developed the first energy storage PPA for an energy offtaker and has advised a leading utility on its battery storage offering to C&I customers. Jonathan has extensive experience of advising on transactions in the climate change and energy sectors, and on all technologies including energy storage, tidal, offshore and onshore wind, solar, CHP and district energy.

Jonathan is Head of Energy Storage at international law firm Eversheds Sutherland and has advised a number of international developers on energy storage projects participating in National Grid’s first Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) tender and the recent Capacity Market T-4 Tender. Jonathan has also developed the first energy storage PPA for an energy offtaker and has advised a leading utility on its battery storage offering to C&I customers. Jonathan regular speaks at leading energy storage conferences and has written numerous articles on the legal and regulatory challenges facing the deployment of energy storage.
